“BEYOND COUTURE”

Stockholm Furniture fair 7-11 February /// TEXTILE BAR: A:25:20 

20 designers at Biologiska was one of the most hailed exhibitions during last year’s edition of Stockholm Design Week. Design verging on art where shown in the midst of stuffed animals and scenographed nature in Stockholm’s most original museum.

We started Studio Färg and Blanche after this feat of successful organisation.

This year we are literally invading the fair! Beyond Couture is our response to an invitation by the Stockholm Furniture Fair to create a textile exhibition/bar. We have created our own fake nature filled it up with dressed-up animals and kilt tribes!

Most of the objects have been specially created by hand in our studio for the exhibition: some 35 seats, 10 tables, 25 lamps, and much more

Red Chair !

The studio got a fantastic order to make 4 handmade re-cover chairs in red…

for the first time in color!!!!

Looking for a new sewing machine!

Fredrik is looking around to buy a new sewing machine to be able to be more efficient in the production process of his different collections such as the

“Re-cover chair” Collection.

Metal for construction, prototype and inspiration…

Emma in the best place to be to find old scrap metal… maybe our next meal !

The Blue Crew

The french Blue crew of the Studio are going to clean : Viviane Hedberg Perron ( painter), Emma Marga Blanche & Sylvain Runberg ( Script writer).

I will present you another time our friends sharing the studio with us & what they do.
